Cancellation & Refund Policy

Should it become necessary for the client to cancel a booking, a cancellation fee will be charged based on how far in advance notice is given:

• Cancellations 61–90 days before the event: 50% of the total booking fee.
• Cancellations 14–60 days before the event: 75% of the total booking fee.
• Cancellations less than 5 days before the event: 100% of the total booking fee.

Booking Confirmation

For each event, the client will confirm the date(s), time(s), location(s), and pay rate(s) at least 5 days prior to the event via email to booking@santaglenn.christmas. The client will also provide contact information for each venue at least 3 days prior to each event.

Force Majeure

In the event of a performer-initiated cancellation due to circumstances beyond the performer's control — including but not limited to earthquakes, wildfires, pandemics, civil unrest, illness of the performer(s), supply chain failures, or transportation issues — no incidental or other liability will be created. The only liability in such a case will be the return of any prepaid fees.

Minimum Booking

All corporate and private residence/in-home parties are subject to a minimum one-hour pay rate.

Arrival & Timing

• The performer will arrive approximately 10 minutes prior to the scheduled appearance, unless otherwise stipulated in the booking agreement.
• Requests for arrival more than 10 minutes early — for example, for a walk-through or rehearsal — will be billed at the applicable rate.
• A ten-minute break is requested after each full hour of work, and no performer will be required to work longer than 90 minutes without a break. The break area should be out of sight of guests.
• All quoted rates include mileage.

Venue & Client Responsibilities

• Provide at least one helper to manage crowds and assist the performer as needed.
• Provide potable water and access to a private restroom; a green room for preparation is appreciated.
• If the event is indoors or outdoors in a warm environment, provide a fan and appropriate breaks for the performer, along with appropriate seating.
• Provide free parking.
• All costumes are standard holiday dress unless otherwise agreed. Due to the nature of the traditional outfit, the performance location should be kept cool and comfortable — we recommend 65–72°F.

Weather & Cancellation

Events are assumed to be indoors, or that arrangements have been made for holding the event outdoors. Cancellations due to inclement weather are billed at the full event rate.

Right to Terminate Appearance

If conditions at the venue become volatile or create a risk of harm to the performer, are of a nature unbecoming or negative to traditional Christmas/holiday activities, or involve the presence of illegal substances or activities, Santa Glenn (Glenn Laird) reserves the right to immediately terminate the appearance and leave the venue. The client remains liable for the full value of the contract in this case.

Photos & Video

All photos and video taken of the performer(s), whether by individuals or professional photographers, are assumed to be for the private or personal use of the client and their guests. They may not be used for commercial or promotional purposes without written permission from Glenn Laird.

Payment

Payment may be made by company check, PayPal, Zelle (g@glaird.org), or cash.

Disputes

Any disputes will be handled through the courts of the State of California.
